Facade Study for Office Buildings

On the a prior building application, we took part in the facade competition in a competitive process. The new development in Munich Moosach is characterized by four building blocks. The four- to six-story structures each offer up to 2,400 square meters of contiguous office space per floor. A car-free arcade with restaurants and boutiques is planned in between.

For the transformation process towards a high-quality, extraordinary design and utilization concept, we propose a prominent façade design. The façade picks up on design elements of the immediately neighboring Olympia shopping center and the Pressestadt. Exposed concrete, cantilevered floor slabs and a symmetrical row of arcades along the main thoroughfare form the main elements of the façade.
